Kukke Subrahmanya Online Seva Booking
Sevas at Kukke Subrahmanya Temple are booked through the Karnataka government's official ITMS portal at itms.kar.nic.in. This guide walks you through the eight steps from registration to downloading your receipt.

About the ITMS Portal
ITMS stands for Integrated Temple Management System. It is the official online platform of the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions & Charitable Endowments Department, hosted at itms.kar.nic.in. Hundreds of state-administered temples — including Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple — publish their sevas, fees and available dates through this single portal.
Because it is a government portal, the fees shown are the official temple rates with no booking commission. Any website or individual charging extra to "arrange" a Kukke seva is not authorised by the temple.

Step-by-Step Booking Guide
Eight steps, roughly ten minutes end to end.
- 1
Step 1: Visit itms.kar.nic.in
Open the official Karnataka temple booking portal.
Type itms.kar.nic.in directly into your browser. This is the Integrated Temple Management System run by the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions & Charitable Endowments Department. Avoid search-ad links and third-party 'agents' claiming to book sevas — they are not authorised.
- 2
Step 2: Register or Log In
Create an account using your email or mobile number.
First-time users register with name, mobile number and email. You will receive an OTP for verification. Returning devotees can log in directly. Keep your mobile number handy — booking confirmations and OTPs are sent there.
- 3
Step 3: Select Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple
Pick the temple from the list of Karnataka temples.
The portal covers hundreds of temples across Karnataka. Use the district filter (Dakshina Kannada) or search for 'Kukke' and select 'Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple, Subrahmanya'. Double-check the temple name before proceeding.
- 4
Step 4: Browse Available Sevas
Choose the seva you want — Sarpasamskara, Ashlesha Bali and more.
The seva list shows the name, official fee and timing for each ritual. Sarpasamskara-Nagapratishtha, Ashlesha Bali, Naga Pratishtha and the various abhishekas are the most commonly booked. Some festival sevas such as Maharathotsava are only bookable at the temple office.
- 5
Step 5: Select Date and Time Slot
Pick an available date from the seva calendar.
Only dates with open slots are selectable. Ashlesha Bali appears only on Ashlesha Nakshatra days, and Sarpa Samskara is a two-day ritual — check that both days suit your travel plan before confirming.
- 6
Step 6: Fill In Devotee Details
Enter name, gothram and nakshatra exactly as they should be chanted.
The priest uses these details during the sankalpa, so spell them carefully. For family sevas, add each participant's name. If you do not know your gothram, the temple priests can guide you on the day.
- 7
Step 7: Make the Payment
Pay by UPI, debit or credit card, or net banking.
The portal uses the Karnataka government payment gateway. Do not refresh or close the page while payment is processing. If the amount is debited but no confirmation appears, wait for the auto-reversal and check your booking history before paying again.
- 8
Step 8: Download the Confirmation Receipt
Save the PDF receipt and take a printout.
The receipt carries your booking reference, seva name and date. It is also emailed to you. Print a copy — the seva counter at the temple verifies the printed receipt along with a photo ID.
Opens itms.kar.nic.in in a new tab. Kshethra is an independent guide and does not process bookings or payments.
Important Tips Before You Book
Book Sarpasamskara well in advance
Sarpa Samskara slots are in very high demand and often fill up weeks ahead, especially around festivals and weekends. Aim to book at least 15 days early.
Carry a printed receipt and photo ID
A screenshot alone may not be accepted at busy counters. Bring the printed receipt along with Aadhaar, driving licence or any government photo ID matching the booking name.
Ashlesha Bali runs only on Ashlesha Nakshatra days
The portal will not show dates outside the Ashlesha Nakshatra. Check the date calendar first, then plan travel around it.
Dress code applies to every booking
Traditional attire is enforced at the temple regardless of how you booked. Men typically wear a dhoti and women a saree or salwar kameez.
Cancellation is not guaranteed
Refund and rescheduling policies differ by seva, and several rituals are non-refundable once booked. Confirm the date carefully before paying.
Read the full temple dress code guide before your visit.
Sevas Available for Online Booking
These are the most frequently booked sevas on the portal. A few large festival sevas, such as Maharathotsava, must still be arranged at the temple office.
Sarpasamskara-Nagapratishtha
Two-day flagship Naga dosha ritual. Advance booking effectively mandatory.
Ashlesha Bali
Performed only on Ashlesha Nakshatra days, 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
Naga Pratishtha
Consecration of a Naga idol, often booked alongside Sarpa Samskara.
Panchamrita Mahabhisheka
Sacred bath with milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugar.
Mahapooja & Palaki Utsava
Afternoon, night and full-day options available.
Archanas & Abhishekas
Ashtottara, Sahasranama, Trishati, Ksheerabhisheka and more.
Need Help with Rooms?
Seva bookings and accommodation are handled separately. If you are travelling for a two-day Sarpa Samskara or an early-morning Ashlesha Bali, arrange your stay near the temple in advance.
