1. We are not the official temple website
Kshethra is an independent guide published by devotees. We are notaffiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Kukke Shree Subrahmanya Temple, its Trust, its administration, or any government body. “Kukke Subrahmanya” and related names are used only to describe the subject of our content.
Anything that is legally, religiously or financially binding — seva bookings, donations, festival schedules, official notices — must be confirmed with the temple administration directly.
2. Accuracy and no warranty
We work to keep our information correct and we date our pages. Even so, content on this site is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind.
- Seva rates, darshan timings, dress code enforcement and travel routes change, sometimes without notice.
- Ritual descriptions are informational accounts of how ceremonies are generally performed. They are not religious instruction, and they are not a substitute for guidance from temple priests.
- Nothing here is astrological, medical, legal or financial advice. If you are deciding whether to perform a remedy such as Sarpa Samskara or Ashlesha Bali, consult a qualified priest or astrologer.
Verify time-critical and cost-critical details with the temple before you travel or pay. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on out-of-date information. If you spot an error, email support@mykshethra.in and we will fix it.
3. Affiliate and advertising disclosure
This site earns money, and we would rather say so plainly than bury it.
- Affiliate links.Some accommodation links — including buttons labelled “Book Now” and “Book Directly on MakeMyTrip” — are affiliate links to third-party booking platforms. If you complete a booking after clicking one, we may receive a commission. Some of these links pass through a link shortener for click tracking.
- You never pay more. Commission is paid by the merchant out of their margin. Your price is the same as going direct.
- Advertising. We may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Ad and cookie details are in our privacy policy.
- No paid coverage. We do not charge lodges or hotels for inclusion, and we do not accept payment to write about a property or a seva more favourably.
Once you leave our site for a booking partner, that partner's terms, pricing, privacy policy and cancellation rules apply — not ours. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it.
4. Our room request service
We are not a hotel, lodge owner, travel agency, or the temple guest house office. The temple administration manages its own guest houses separately and we cannot book them for you.
- Submitting the form on our rooms page creates a request, not a confirmed reservation. A room is only held once we confirm it back to you.
- We act as an intermediary that checks availability with nearby private lodges and hotels and confirms over WhatsApp, normally within about two hours during the day.
- The property, not Kshethra, sets the room rate, check-in and check-out times, cancellation policy, and standard of service. Payment is made to the property.
- We cannot guarantee availability, especially during festivals, Ashlesha Nakshatra dates and weekends. Book early.
- Disputes about the stay itself are between you and the property. We will help where we reasonably can.
5. Acceptable use
You may read, print and share our pages for personal, non-commercial planning. You may not republish our content at scale, scrape the site, or present our material as your own or as official temple communication.
Do not submit false room requests, other people's contact details without consent, or abusive content. We may decline service to anyone who does.
6. Intellectual property
Our written guides, page structure, and the Kshethra name and logo belong to us. Temple names and any third-party marks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kshethra is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, from travel or booking decisions made using it, or from dealings with third-party properties and booking platforms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.
